Kohlrabi slaw
Thoroughly combine
1/4 cup oil (Susquehanna Mills carries local hemp, sunflower and canola)
1 tablespoon Schlegel’s apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Auker’s Apiary honey
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Toss with
1 large apple, cored and cut into matchsticks (Green’s Fruit Farm has an Eco Apple.)
1 medium kohlrabi, peeled and cut into matchsticks (Hickory Run Homestead)
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion (we stored ours over winter. Do the best you can. If it’s not local, you tried.)
1/4 cup shredded carrots (HickoryRunHomestead)
1/4 cup broccoli sprouts for garnish (HRH)
Freshly ground black pepper
